Swangz Avenue Only Manages My Bookings, Iryn Namubiru Clarifies

Swangz Avenue’s ongoing association with Iryn Namubiru has continued to raise eyebrows following their collaboration last year.

The label was behind Namubiru’s “Timeless Experience” concert in July 2024 at Kampala Serena Hotel, a show that sold out and earned praise for its production quality.

After the concert, the singer worked with Swangz Avenue for about two months, allowing the label to handle her bookings during the festive season.

Even after that period ended, Swangz Avenue continued promoting her for events, triggering speculation that she had signed with the label.

However, speaking in a recent interview with Tawfiq, Namubiru shut down the rumors, clarifying that Swangz Avenue continues to manage her bookings and nothing more.

They manage my bookings, but I am not a Swangz Avenue artiste. So, if you want to book me, you go through them.

That clarification puts the signing rumors to rest, at least for now.
