T-Paul 256 Reflects on Early Fatherhood and God’s Timing

Recording and performing artiste Paul Taremwa, better known by his stage name T-Paul 256, has opened up about his journey into fatherhood and the personal growth that followed.

While appearing on Sanyuka Bigenda Bitya, T-Paul revealed that he is a father to two daughters a role he stepped into earlier than he expected.

He shared that he had his first child when he was almost finishing university, a development that his family and church community did not approve of at the time.

I got my first child when I was almost finishing University. Coming from a church background, my parents and church elders were disappointed. They felt I was still young and the timing was not right.

T-Paul admitted that at the time, he also struggled with accepting the situation and even tried to distance himself from it.

I handled the situation like a child, to be honest. But after about a year, I took time to reflect and thought, if my goal is to be a successful musician, then my brand should not carry such stains. I need to stand for strong values, like taking responsibility for my actions.

Despite the initial pressure and fear, the singer has come to view the experience as part of a greater plan one that was divinely timed.

God is very good, and do you know why? He has the best timing. Even when something feels like bad timing to us, for Him, it is perfect. He allows it to happen for a reason, sometimes to help you grow.
