Tamale Mirundi Jr Laughs Off ‘Maribu Tole’ Nickname After Losing Teeth in Accident, Says He Finds It Fun

Outspoken media personality Tamale Mirundi Jr is no stranger to controversy, but this time, he finds himself on the receiving end of online mockery.

On March 19, Mirundi Jr was involved in an accident that left him hospitalized at Nsambya Hospital.

Fortunately, he is recovering well and has since been discharged.

Mirundi Jr, however, lost some teeth in the accident, which has now become a source of ridicule on social media.

Bloggers and internet users have nicknamed him “Maribu Tole,” a Luganda phrase meaning “someone without teeth.”

Rather than taking offense, Mirundi Jr finds the nickname amusing.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, he acknowledged the humor in it but warned those mocking him to brace themselves for payback if they ever face a similar misfortune.

Beyond the jokes, veteran singer Kazibwe Kapo has strongly criticized Mirundi Jr for previously ridiculing others in difficult situations.

While grateful that his life was spared, Kazibwe hopes the accident teaches him to be more compassionate toward those facing hardships.

Whether this incident will change Mirundi Jr’s perspective remains to be seen.
