Taylor Swift Denies Jealousy Over Selena Gomez’s Wedding

Taylor Swift has dismissed rumours that she was jealous of her best friend Selena Gomez for marrying first.

Selena married producer Benny Blanco in late September, with Taylor in attendance.

Shortly after, reports suggested Swift joked about Gomez beating her to the altar during her wedding speech.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Taylor clarified that her speech was not about her own engagement.

She explained that she had only made lighthearted jokes about how they dressed in 2008 and focused on celebrating her friend’s special day.

She added that she was truly happy to be part of Selena’s wedding and described it as a beautiful moment in her life.

Swift also revealed why Ed Sheeran, her close friend, had not heard about her engagement to Travis Kelce sooner.

She explained that Ed does not use a phone and can only be contacted through email or FaceTime.
