The People ‘Egaali’ Around Alien Skin Are the Real Problem – Fik Gaza
Fik Gaza shared his thoughts on the ongoing situation involving fellow musician Alien Skin, who is currently in Luzira Prison facing allegations of causing grievous harm at Nsambya Hospital and an earlier theft case.
Speaking during an interview with Sanyuka TV, Fik Gaza expressed empathy, stating that he would never wish imprisonment on anyone, as it feels like a death sentence.
He condemned the alleged assault on hospital staff, including Dr. Saed Matovu, Alex Odong, and Anthony Muyanda, but expressed doubts about the theft accusations. Fik Gaza explained that during his time in Alien Skin’s camp, he never observed such behavior or vices from him.
Fik Gaza also noted that allegations like phone theft are not uncommon in the music industry. He recounted his own experiences with similar accusations, where individuals claimed he and his crew assaulted them and stole their phones.
He emphasized that musicians should learn from Alien Skin’s situation and exercise caution regarding the people they associate with, as some companions might have harmful intentions.
While acknowledging Alien Skin’s reputation as a bully, Fik Gaza suggested that much of the chaos and trouble could be caused by those within his circle rather than the artiste himself. He believes such individuals may be tarnishing Alien Skin’s image.
Having spent over a year in jail himself, Fik Gaza shared a deep understanding of the hardships that come with imprisonment. This personal experience has made him cautious about ever returning to such an environment, reinforcing his desire to see Alien Skin freed.
Despite his willingness to visit Alien Skin in prison, Fik Gaza’s ultimate hope is for his release.
