The Truth Behind Ronah Rhungi Calling Herself ‘Da Dutches’

Ronah Rhungi has revealed why she adds “Da Dutches” to her stage name.

Many might think she is a duchess by birth or marriage, but that is far from the reason.

During an interview with NBS After5, the “Nkuliyo” singer explained:

All the titles are taken. Queen is taken. Princess is taken. King is taken. So I am the music ‘Dutches.’

Ronah says she chose the name because other royal titles are already used by musicians, and “Dutches” was the only one left.
