“They Fear My Talent,” Gloria Bugie on Musicians Who Bash Her

Gloria Bugie has been making waves in the Ugandan music scene, but with fame has come criticism.

Ever since she broke onto the scene, the singer has faced a barrage of insults, most of which target her voice and singing.

While some of the negativity comes from blogs, commentators, and fans, it has been surprising to see fellow musicians joining in.

Now, it appears that Gloria Bugie has grown tired of the disrespect, especially from her peers in the industry.

Speaking to Exclusive Media, the “Nyash” singer expressed her thoughts on those who take the time to publicly speak against her.

There are people who dislike you but do nothing about it, keeping their feelings to themselves. But the one who takes the time to sit in front of a camera and say nonsense about you… that musician is not okay not okay upstairs.

She added:

I send greetings to musicians who have faced cameras and said nonsense about me. They fear my talent… Stop being intimidated. Go and work.

With her eyes on her music, Gloria Bugie shows that criticism cannot hold her back.
