“Think Beyond the Stage,” Daxx Kartel Urges Musicians to Plan for the Future
Singer Dax Kartel has addressed his declining presence in the music industry, citing changing ambitions and a broader focus beyond entertainment.
In a recent interview, he did not confirm that he had fully stepped away from music to focus solely on gold mining, but he acknowledged that his priorities have shifted.
He emphasized the importance of musicians branching out, describing the world as “self-service,” where individuals must take initiative to secure their future.
Using football as an analogy, Daxx explained that growth and age naturally affect one’s momentum.
“A footballer at 21 will not be the same at 30,” he said, suggesting that artistes too are affected by these factors.
He encouraged musicians to think beyond the stage and start investing in long-term impact, particularly by supporting and guiding emerging talent.
Daxx Kartel, who is now nurturing artistes, most notably King Zale, appears to be focused on building a legacy that extends beyond personal success.
