“This Is My Second and Definitely My Last Time Proposing,” Ykee Benda Clears the Air
Singer Ykee Benda has spoken out to dismiss ongoing rumors that he previously proposed to two women, including his baby mama, Julie Batenga.
The speculation resurfaced shortly after the artiste announced his engagement to longtime partner Emily Nyawira on June 13.
Setting the record straight, Ykee clarified that he has only proposed twice in his life, with Emily being the second and final woman to receive a ring.
“This is my second time proposing, and it is the last time,” he stated firmly.
The “Farmer” hitmaker went on to emphasize that the engagement is not just a personal milestone but a shared celebration between him and Emily.
“We should both be congratulated,” he said.
“She got a man who made her official and publicly asked her to accept him, and I got a woman who accepted to be my partner for life.”
Ykee Benda also revealed that he and Emily have been together for five years.
