Tiwa Savage Says Egg Freezing Is Her Backup Plan for More Kids
Nigerian Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has revealed she froze her eggs as a backup plan for having more kids later.
The 42-year-old singer, who is a mother of one, opened up in a recent interview with Zeze Mills about why she took this step.
Tiwa said she wishes she had done it sooner and now urges women in their 30s to freeze their eggs to take control of their fertility.
She explained that having her first child at 34 was perfect because she was ready emotionally and financially.
But since no one knows how many eggs they are born with, Tiwa calls egg freezing a smart insurance move.
Tiwa welcomed her son with her ex-husband Teebillz back in 2015 and says she is still unsure if she wants more children, but at least she is prepared just in case.
