Tracy Melon Names Irene Namubiru as Her Dream Collaboration
Ugandan singer Tracy Melon has revealed she keeps an open mind when it comes to musical collaborations, though there is one artiste she would love to work with.
Speaking during her sit down with Anna Talia Oze on Sanyuka Bigenda Bitya, Tracy said she does not have a fixed list of dream collaborators.
She explained that while she admires many artistes, she does not limit her possibilities.
It is a hard one. I am not the type who has specific people I want to work with. Of course, I look at people and appreciate them, and think if I did something with this artiste, it would be fire. But there is not that one person that I am stuck on.
Tracy went on to reveal her top choice, pointing to one of the biggest names in Ugandan music.
My icon is Irene Namubiru, and I would definitely be down for a collaboration with her. As for the rest, I can work with anybody.
Her openness to working with all artistes, even those outside her genre, shows her versatility and willingness to experiment with different sounds.
Fans can only imagine the kind of magic Tracy Melon would create if her wish to collaborate with Irene Namubiru comes true.
