Tracy Melon Opens Up on Navigating Social Media Criticism

The Ugandan music industry is packed with talent, but like any busy creative space, it also receives its fair share of criticism, especially on social media.

Rising singer Tracy Melon, whose real name is Tracy Mirembe, knows this all too well.

In a recent chat with Sanyuka TV, she said criticism is just part of the journey for anyone stepping into the spotlight.

Anyone in the limelight, or in any business, has to be open to feedback.

The “Nkwagala” hit-maker welcomes all kinds of feedback, whether good or bad.

She opened up about how she takes comments from people online with an open heart.

I am definitely open to feedback. I get both positive and negative feedback, but I take it all in and use it to my advantage to get better.
