Tuff B Outlines Job Creation Agenda in Makindye East Bid
When speaking about his interest in political office, singer and media personality Tuff B, whose real name is Robert Sekidde, emphasized that success does not come overnight.
His decision to contest for the Makindye East Parliamentary Seat, he said, is a response to the outcry from his community, where nearly 90% of the youth are unemployed.
According to him, this high level of unemployment has contributed to many of the challenges and insecurities faced by residents in the area.
As a way to tackle this issue, Tuff B is planning to establish a Job Centre in Makindye East.
The centre will be open to everyone, regardless of age or education background.
Residents with a national ID, LC1 letter, or driving permit will be able to submit their documents at the centre.
Once submitted, the centre will work on sourcing job opportunities and ensuring their information, queries, and concerns reach the right places.
Tuff B is confident that this initiative will go a long way in reducing unemployment and uplifting the lives of many people in Makindye East.
