Tyla Promises to Show a New Side of Herself with Rap Music

Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla recently shared an exciting update about her music in an interview with Nylon.

After rising to fame with her hit song “Water,” Tyla is now ready to explore new sounds.

Confident in her rapping skills, she revealed that she has a collection of rap songs that have yet to be released, showing that she is not limited to just one genre.

While her debut album was loved for its mix of Amapiano, pop, and R&B, Tyla is ready to push creative boundaries with her next album.

She shared that she didn’t stick to learning from one artist but took inspiration from many different performers, which helped her create her unique style.

“I never really studied specific artists. I just focused on songs, performances, and music videos I liked. It was a mix of pop stars, rappers, and R&B singers. I knew I wanted to create something different from what I had heard before,” she said.

She also revealed that her upcoming music includes rap, R&B, and Amapiano tracks, showing a diverse mix of sounds.

“I have full-on rap songs. Full-on R&B. Full-on Amapiano. I experimented with different sounds and found what felt right for me,” she explained, teasing her new style.

When asked about her rap songs, she said they are “hot” and expressed excitement to show a side of her that fans might not expect.

“I am excited to show that I am more versatile than people think. I want to take my time with my music and do what feels right. One day, you will hear that Tyla rap song,” she said confidently.
