Ugandan Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi Proposes Boxing Match for Alien Skin and Pallaso
Moses Muhangi, the President of the Ugandan Boxing Federation (UBF), has addressed the recent altercation between musicians Alien Skin and Pallaso during the Enkuuka in Mengo on 31st December 2024 and the Empeele Festival in Buloba on 1st January 2025.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV, Muhangi condemned the street fight and called for a more constructive way to settle their differences.
“It is unnecessary to fight on the streets and involve innocent people, including entourages who end up caught in the middle of personal disagreements,” Muhangi stated.
He proposed a professional boxing match as an alternative, highlighting the federation’s Corporate Boxing platform as the perfect stage for such clashes.
Referring to past matches involving artistes such as Rickman and Grenade Official, as well as socialite Shakib Lutaaya and media personality JK Kazoora, Muhangi assured the public that the federation is ready to organize a proper fight for Alien Skin and Pallaso.
“If they feel the need to clash, we are ready to organize this fight. The winner will receive a championship belt, and good enough they fall within the same weight class,” he explained.
Muhangi also pointed out that street fights harm the reputation of boxing, particularly when some of the entourages include professional boxers.
He encouraged the two musicians to take advantage of this opportunity to resolve their conflict in a professional and safe setting, while entertaining their fans.
“We are ready to sit down and plan this fight. Let us do it properly, with the world watching. Stop the street fights,” Muhangi concluded.
