Entertainment Commentator Frank Ntambi Remanded to Luzira Over Cyber Harassment

Ugandan social commentator and entertainment critic Frank Ntambi has been arrested on cyber harassment charges following a clash with music manager Jeff Kiwa.

The case arises from Ntambi’s remarks on social media and in interviews, where he accused Kiwa of exploiting artiste and failing to apply modern music industry tactics.

The dispute was linked to the track Nobody, Somebody, which involves Team No Sleep (TNS) artistes Ava Peace and Jowy Landa, alongside former associate Sheebah Karungi.

Ntambi’s viral statement, “Some people are managers because they have money but don’t know how the game works,” prompted Kiwa to file a cyber harassment case at Kabalagala Police Station under reference SD: 116/25/07/2025.

Police summoned Ntambi on July 31, 2025, but he failed to resolve the matter through mediation despite making private attempts to reach Kiwa.

Authorities later moved in and took him into custody.

A magistrate has remanded Ntambi to Luzira Prison until August 28, 2025, when the case will return to court.
