Uncle Chumi Sets Sights on Wedding and Birthday Gigs, Reveals Her Rate Card
Controversial TikToker turned musician Uncle Chumi is steadily making a name for herself in Uganda’s music scene.
Her hit song Gwokute Gwobba gained widespread attention, despite its short length of just 1 minute and 57 seconds.
While some people had mixed opinions about its brief duration, her new song Guninya is a step forward, lasting 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Uncle Chumi shared some interesting details about her career.
Despite her rising popularity and high demand, she surprisingly did not secure any bookings for Valentine’s Day.
However, as her career continues to grow, Uncle Chumi is actively expanding her performance opportunities.
She revealed that she is available for wedding gigs, charging 4 million for weddings in Kampala and 5 million for those in the villages.
Additionally, she offers her talent at children’s birthday parties, with a fee of 1.5 million for parties in Kampala.
Whether her music is appropriate for younger audiences remains a topic of debate.
