Union Boda Deepens Community Trust With Staff Outreach at Next Media
Union Boda made an insightful visit to Next Media today, engaging staff in an interactive session that showcased the functionality and value of their mobile app.
The visit focused on raising awareness about the app’s user-friendly design and how it provides safe, reliable transport services.
During the presentation, the team explained how the app works, from booking a ride to completing a trip.
They addressed staff questions, clarified concerns, and emphasized how the app tackles everyday transportation challenges.
Their engagement reflected a strong commitment to digital innovation in the local transport sector and to building trust through direct interaction.
Amon Mulyowa, the Trade Marketing and Brand Manager, highlighted Union Boda’s user-centered approach.
We built a reliable ecosystem that prioritizes safety, trust, and convenience for every Ugandan commuter.
One key feature demonstrated was the app’s OTP (One-Time Password) system.
Once a trip is accepted, a unique OTP is sent to the client, which must be given to the rider before the journey begins.
This ensures that rides only start when the client is ready, promoting transparency and preventing overcharging.
The team also introduced the SOS safety feature, which allows clients to add an emergency contact who can monitor the trip in real time.
The contact receives the rider’s details such as name, photo, and number plate, and can track the journey’s progress, offering peace of mind and an added layer of safety.
The visit left Next Media staff better informed and more confident about the Union Lets Go App.
With its focus on safety, accountability, and convenience, Union Boda is positioning itself as a game changer in Uganda’s transport sector.
