United DJs Association Gets UGX 110 Million Funding from UNMF
The United DJs Association Uganda has secured UGX 110 million in funding from the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
The funding was announced during a recent handover event organized by the federation.
The support comes under a SACCO initiative designed to help music industry groups access savings programs and loan opportunities.
Federation president Eddy Kenzo has previously said the program is meant to help creatives build stable careers by supporting investments in equipment and professional development.

Industry players believe the funding could create more opportunities for DJs working in radio, nightlife, and the events sector.
With the new support, the DJs association joins other creative groups that have benefited from the government backed initiative.
