ValenTeenz Summit UG 2026: NBS Plus to Empower Uganda’s Teens

In a move aimed at empowering Uganda’s teenage generation, NBS Plus will on 14th February 2026 host the Valen Teenz Summit UG 2026 at Next Media Park.

The youth-focused initiative is intended to guide students on relationships, leadership, and life choices.

To achieve this, the summit is designed as a safe, engaging, and interactive platform.

Teenagers from different schools across the country will come together for open conversations on sexual health, emotional wellbeing, personal development, and responsible decision-making.

To support these discussions, the event will feature youth leaders, peer educators, counsellors, content creators, and inspirational speakers.

Organisers say the goal is to address real-life challenges facing young people today.

These include peer pressure, early relationships, mental health, self-esteem, and career aspirations.

Organisers also say Valentine’s Day offers a strategic opportunity for the summit.

They hope to move beyond the usual focus on romance and instead promote meaningful dialogue that equips teenagers with life skills for long-term success.

The summit will take place physically at Next Media Park, with selected schools attending by invitation.

However, millions of viewers across the country will be able to follow the discussions live on NBS Plus.

Through this initiative, NBS Plus continues to strengthen its position as a leading youth-focused platform.

The station says it aims to use media not only for entertainment, but also for education, mentorship, and social impact.

Looking ahead, organisers add that the Valen Teenz Summit is expected to become an annual flagship youth event.

They believe it will position Next Media Park as a hub for teenage empowerment, innovation, and leadership development in Uganda.

The summit will be strictly by invitation and schools interested in participating can register via www.nextars.co.ug.
