Victoria University Backs Pastor Bugembe’s 20-Year Music Celebration at Serena Hotel
Pastor Wilson Bugembe, a celebrated Ugandan gospel singer and worship leader, is gearing up to celebrate 20 years in the music industry with a VIP concert at the Serena Kampala Hotel on August 8, 2025.
The event, dubbed “A Walk with Pastor Bugembe,” promises to be an unforgettable evening of worship, music, and reflection on Bugembe’s two-decade journey.
Victoria University, where Bugembe recently shared his inspiring story of overcoming adversity, has pledged full support for the concert.
The university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Muganga, praised Bugembe as a living testimony of faith, resilience, and transformation.
Bugembe expressed gratitude to the university and MTN Uganda, one of the sponsors, saying, “This is the first time a university has supported my concert, and not just any university, but one that’s transforming lives.”
During his visit to Victoria University, Bugembe spoke to over 1,000 students, sharing his testimony of overcoming poverty, loss, and hardship through faith in God, hard work, and persistence.
He encouraged students to build personal relationships with God and maximize their time at the university by dreaming big and solving real-world problems.
Tickets for the concert are available, with prices ranging from UGX 150,000 for individual tickets to UGX 3 million for tables.
The event is expected to attract a large crowd, including music lovers, faith leaders, and dignitaries.
