Vinka Laughs at Ava Peace’s Battle Proposal, Calls It a ‘Joke’
Rising singer Ava Peace has sparked conversation by saying she is ready to take on any Ugandan artiste in a music battle, including Sheebah or Vinka.
She explained that, if well organized and structured, a battle is simply a creative platform where artistes can showcase their talent, entertain fans, and earn some money.
However, Vinka does not share the enthusiasm.
When asked about Ava Peace’s comments during an interview with Tawfiq Media, the Swangz Avenue star burst into laughter and quickly dismissed the idea.
That is a joke, right? That is a joke. Let me first hold a concert, but still I do not think a battle will ever happen. The concert is coming though.
Vinka went on to make her stance even clearer, saying she sees no real purpose in music battles.
In her view, artistes should stop chasing unnecessary showdowns and instead invest their time in creating songs that fans will actually enjoy.
Battle for what? Just release good music. Just do it for the people. Make music and if people like it, well and good. Lets enjoy.
