Viral Video: Man Claims He Is the Real Father of Singer Asake
A man has sparked debate online after claiming he is the biological father of Afrobeats star Asake.
The claim surfaced in a video posted on X where the man said he became a father while still a teenager but gave the child up for adoption because he felt too young to raise him.
A lot of people do not know that I was a teenage father. When I was a teenager, I had a son and I ended up giving him up for adoption, mostly because I simply did not care at the time.
According to him, the boy was first named Tanimutanku before later adopting another identity.
He alleged that the child eventually distanced himself from his biological family and later rose to fame as the singer now known as Asake.
If I had known what the future held, I would have kept and raised him myself so I could witness his success and benefit from it.
The claim began circulating shortly after reports suggested the musician recently gifted both his parents luxury cars.
As of now, Asake has not publicly responded to the claims made in the viral video.
