Walukaga Claps Back at Critics Over English Skills and Academic Credentials

Musician-turned-politician Mathias Walukaga is once again in the spotlight, responding to critics who have questioned his academic qualifications, English command, and rapid rise in politics.

Now contesting for the Busiro East Member of Parliament seat, Walukaga spoke to Sanyuka Uncut, making it clear that he remains unshaken by the scrutiny.

Academics will not stop me. They say I do not have papers. They say I cannot speak English. They say I do not belong here. My friends, let me tell you, no piece of paper will ever stop me from serving my people. I have proof. I completed my adult education program. I worked for it. I passed, and I am proud. Some people hide behind degrees they never even use. I stand on the work I am doing for Busiro East.

He directly addressed claims about his qualifications, highlighting the effort he put into completing his adult education program and his pride in achieving it.

Walukaga stressed that practical service and results matter more than formal credentials.

Let them talk. Academics will not stop me. What matters is service, integrity, and results. And, by the way, I can communicate in any language required to deliver my message.

The Busiro East hopeful emphasized that his focus is on serving his constituents, delivering results, and maintaining integrity.

He also made it clear that he can communicate effectively in any language necessary to connect with his community.

I can communicate in any language required to deliver my message. My people know me. I am not perfect, but I work. Education is a journey, not a weapon. And as long as Busiro East believes in me, I will keep learning and keep winning.
