Walukaga Defends Kafeero DNA Results: “DNA Can’t Lie”

Musician Mathias Walukaga has thrown his weight behind the forensic DNA results in the paternity case involving the late Kadongo Kamu legend Paul Job Kafeero, insisting that science leaves little room for doubt.

The government released the findings on June 25, 2026, following tests conducted jointly by the Police Forensic Laboratory and the Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory (DGAL).

The results confirmed that only four of the 25 people who claimed to be Kafeero’s children were biologically related to the legendary singer.

Speaking about the findings, Walukaga said he trusts the outcome completely because multiple laboratories handled the DNA tests.

DNA can’t lie because it is done in three different laboratories. I believe the results 100 percent.

Walukaga also dismissed comments from Kafeero’s former manager, who reportedly questioned the findings by arguing that the singer did not have many children.

Unless the manager is the one who gave birth with Kafeero’s wives, how can he know better? Even the woman you slept with can tell you a child is yours when it is not.

His confidence in the findings also comes from first-hand experience.

Walukaga spent years living and working in Kafeero’s home as a houseboy, giving him a close look at the singer’s family life.

During that time, he said, he only knew three children whom Kafeero openly raised as his own.

Walukaga also had a message for those whose DNA results excluded Kafeero as their biological father. He urged them to seek answers from their mothers, arguing that they hold the truth about their children’s paternity.

The children that DNA dropped should ask their mothers about their clans because their mothers know the truth.

For Walukaga, the forensic findings should put years of speculation to rest, with science providing answers where rumours and assumptions could not.
