Why A Pass Will Wait Until He Is 70 to Get Married

2025 has been a busy year for Ugandan entertainers, with several musicians tying the knot or taking steps toward marriage.

Big names like Irene Ntale, Baby Gloria, and Carol Nantongo have all made headlines with their personal milestones.

Singer A Pass, however, has a very different plan for his love life.

Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, he revealed that while he does think about marriage, he wants to take his time before walking down the aisle.

I am going to get married. I will not need people to raise funds for my wedding. I am going to do it. Give me time, like 40 years from now. I want to get married when I am 70, suffer a little, then die.

He also admitted that some of the troubling stories about married couples in the media make him cautious about tying the knot.

It is not easy. Watching how marriages play out these days worries me.

While many of his peers are embracing married life early, A Pass is taking a unique approach, planning for a late-life wedding and hoping to enjoy his independence for many years before then.
