Why Changing Interests Do Not Mean Losing Friends
Sometimes you notice a friend acting differently. They are not as excited about the shows you watch or the hangouts you used to love. At first, it can feel strange or even a little disappointing.
But friends change, and that is normal. Interests shift, routines evolve, and the things you once did together might not fit anymore.
This does not mean your friend has outgrown you. Everyone is figuring out who they want to be, and growing out of old habits is just part of life.
Getting upset rarely helps. Giving your friends space makes the bond stronger. You can still stay close even if your routines are different. Call, check in, or find new ways to hang out.
Friendships can change and still last. If your friend is evolving, try to see it as normal. You are growing too, and sometimes that is exactly what keeps the connection alive.
