Why Fame Is Not What It Seems: Acidic Vokoz Talks About the Challenges of Stardom
Acidic Vokoz, the man behind the hit song “It’s Okay,” has spoken candidly about the challenges of fame, admitting that it is not as easy to handle as many may think.
While stardom is a dream for many, he believes it comes with pressures that can easily derail an artiste if they are not careful.
One of the biggest challenges, he explained, is how fame impacts personal relationships.
“An artiste may find themselves breaking up with a long-term partner, not because the relationship is failing, but because fame brings a flood of attention and admirers,” he said.
Acidic Vokoz warned that those who cannot control how fame affects them can make poor decisions that they later regret and sometimes lead to serious problems.
The sudden lifestyle changes, constant public attention, and the temptations of the spotlight can quickly lead someone astray.
So how does he stay grounded? For him, the key is humility. He does not see himself as a star, nor does he act like one.
Instead, he treats each day as if he is still working hard to make it, which helps him stay focused and prevents fame from going to his head.
