Why Kin Bella Believes Women Should Not Fundraise for Their Weddings
Fundraising for ceremonies like Kwanjula or weddings is common in Uganda.
Many women turn to their family, friends, and community to raise funds to make these ceremonies happen.
But Ugandan singer Kin Bella, born Niwabo Belinda, is making it clear that she will not follow that path.
Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, she insisted that it is better to remain single than to compromise her dignity by fundraising for a ceremony.
Let me first wait and work. It is better to remain single than to fundraise for your ceremonies as a woman, so that you go with your dignity. They say a woman has to go with dignity.
When asked if she has a man in her life, the “Sente Za Pill” hitmaker revealed that she is still a virgin.
She also shared what she looks for in a partner, emphasizing that financial stability matters more than looks.
I want a man who has more money than me. I do not really focus on looks or appearance. I am already a good-looking girl, so the children will take after my looks.
