Why Madoxx Cannot Play Bebe, Bobi, and Gravity’s Music at Home

Legendary reggae star Madox Ssematimba has revealed that he cannot play Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, or Gravity Omutujju’s music in his home.
Speaking in an interview with YouTuber Peng Peng, Madox explained, “I am not dissing Bebe Cool, but I cannot play his music in my home. Not even Bobi Wine.”
Another artiste he added to the list of those he cannot play at home is Lugaflow rapper Gravity Omutujju.
“A lot of people love what Gravity does. I like it too, I cannot play it in my house,” he said.
He clarified that while he enjoys their music in public settings, his home is a sacred space that reflects his mood and creative spirit.
“Even my own music, I cannot play it at home. Your home creates your mood. It is where your soul originates and creates new things, so knowing what to play is important,” he explained.
The “Nakatudde” hit-maker also pointed out that context matters even in music.
“Imagine playing Bobi Wine’s ‘Obululu’ at home,” he added, emphasizing that people should understand the different ways the music industry is pushed based on situation and audience.
“I am not dissing anyone. I just want people to understand this,” he concluded.
The internet, of course, had feelings.
