Why Mikey Seems 2 Funny Is Switching from Comedy Skits to Streaming
Following his triumph as TikToker of the Year at the recently concluded Uncut Awards 2025, Mikey Seems 2 Funny has opened up about what helped him reach the milestone.
Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, the popular content creator said versatility and persistence are the key factors behind his success.
I believe being persistent and also showing versatility to the people we deal with, especially the people who support us. By versatility, I mean not sticking to one thing.
Mikey also pointed out that audience tastes have changed, noting that people are no longer as drawn to funny content as they once were.
Because of that shift, he said he decided to change direction and focus more on streaming.
I believe funny content is now outdated. It is just that some people got locked into it, but people no longer consume it that much. I am no longer so much into content. I am now more of a streamer. I stream a lot.
In closing, Mikey described his award win as deserved.
However, had he not won the award, he believes Solomon Kimera or Janice Kemigisha would have deserved it.
