Willar Stary’s Hit ‘Ngenderera’ Pulled from YouTube Amid Copyright Drama

Rising Ugandan star Willar Stary has been dealt a major blow after his smash hit “Ngenderera” featuring Kataleya & Kandle was suddenly yanked from YouTube following a copyright strike.

The music video, which had already amassed over 1.2 million views, was taken down after a complaint from an individual named Twin Jojo, who claimed the video copied content from a channel called Gumpunza.

You now have 1 copyright strike. If you get multiple copyright strikes, we will have to terminate your channel,” part of YouTube’s notification to Willar Stary read.

Fans and management were left fuming, especially since “Ngenderera” had quickly become a trending anthem, cementing Willar Stary’s rise in the East African music scene.

His team, Ray Pan, described the takedown as the work of “bad mind people” trying to sabotage the young star’s progress.

Despite the drama, Willar Stary’s team remains optimistic.

Industry insiders say these copyright clashes are common in the digital age and can often be overturned if the claims are proven false.

For now, “Ngenderera” remains offline, but fans are rallying behind Willar Stary, urging him to fight back and get the video restored.
