Winnie Nwagi Calls Out Disrespectful Fans After Stage Incident

A moment on stage turned tense for Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi after an encounter with a fan went too far.

The singer later took to Snapchat to explain what happened, saying a man approached her during a performance and crossed personal boundaries.

According to Nwagi, the situation escalated quickly. She said the individual first tried to kiss her before attempting to pull off her top as security stepped in to remove him.

Now this fool tried to put his lips on mine and then, as they were dragging him out, he tried to put my top off… It is not funny anymore.

The incident left her frustrated, as she pointed to a pattern of disrespectful behavior from some fans during shows.

I am even tired of using this microphone on you, all disrespectful fans… It is so painful, but if you keep trying me, I swear I won’t be able to help it.

Her remarks have since fueled wider conversations about performer safety, especially for female artistes, and the need for tighter control around stage access.
