Winnie Nwagi Demands Respect From Fans During Her Performances

Singer Winnifred Nakanwagi, popularly known as Winnie Nwagi, is standing firm when it comes to fans who cross the line during her performances.

She makes no apologies for defending herself, especially when it comes to inappropriate physical contact.

Back in 2022, while performing her hit song ‘Matala” at Nexus Lounge, Nwagi slapped a fan who allegedly tried to film her private parts.

More recently, she kicked a fan who touched her thigh during a show.

In an interview with Tawfiq Media, Nwagi made it clear that she is not worried about losing fans if they do not know how to behave.

I want a disciplined fanbase. do not mind losing fans who are not disciplined.

She emphasized that respect should go both ways. If fans expect her to treat them well, then they should also act respectfully.

You are not going to come to a show and trigger me just because I am expected to behave nicely. What about you? How were you raised? Were you taught to touch people inappropriately while they perform?

Nwagi added that she has never tolerated such behavior and never will.
