Wizkid Drops Sharp Words for Seun Kuti as Tension Grows
Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Wizkid has finally reacted to Seun Kuti’s recent comments, sending the tensions into a new phase.
The Maverick singer had earlier warned Wizkid fans to stop comparing the singer to his late father, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, calling it disrespectful to Fela’s legacy.
The situation grew louder after he also accused Wizkid of copying his nickname.
He rejected calls to drop “Big Bird,” insisting he used it long before Wizkid began using “Biggest Bird.”
Seun also dismissed claims that he was using Wizkid for attention, saying his career has remained active with shows in different countries.
But Wizkid has now stepped into the drama directly.
On Instagram, he claimed he is bigger than Seun’s father and questioned what Seun has achieved.

The Starboy then posted again on X, mocking the feud and suggesting Seun is more focused on fan battles than anything meaningful.

All eyes are now on Seun Kuti, as the feud appears far from over.
