Wizkid Named Highest Selling African Artiste on ChartMasters List
Wizkid has reached a new global milestone.
The Nigerian star is now the highest selling African artist on ChartMasters’ all time worldwide ranking.
The music data platform credits him with 13.18 million equivalent album sales, placing him at No. 545 on its global list.
The ranking uses a Comprehensive Sales Plus Consumption model that combines album sales, digital downloads and streaming performance into one total figure.
Within that system, Wizkid stands above every other African act. Burna Boy appears next at No. 548.
The achievement adds to an already strong commercial record.
Wizkid recently became the first African artist to surpass 10 billion streams on Spotify, underlining the scale of his international audience.
With this latest placement, his catalogue continues to reflect sustained global demand across both traditional sales and streaming platforms.
