Woman Accused of Shooting at Rihanna’s Home Identified
Police in Los Angeles have arrested a woman accused of firing several shots into the home of pop star Rihanna.
Authorities identified the suspect as 35 year old Ivana Lisette Ortiz from Orlando, Florida.
She was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and her bail was set at 10,225,000 dollars.
Investigators say the shooting happened Sunday afternoon at Rihanna’s property in the Beverly Crest neighborhood.
Police believe Ortiz arrived in a white Tesla with paper plates and fired between seven and ten rounds from an AR 15 style rifle.
Bullets struck the house, the gate and a recreational vehicle parked on the property.
No injuries were reported. Detectives later recovered the weapon from the suspect’s vehicle as the investigation continues.
