Woman Pleads Not Guilty in Shooting at Rihanna’s Home
A 35-year-old woman from Florida has pleaded not guilty after a shooting at the Los Angeles home of Rihanna.
Ivanna Lisette Ortiz faces attempted murder and several other charges linked to the March 8 incident.
Prosecutors say she fired about 20 rounds at the property and targeted Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, their children, and others inside. No one suffered injuries.
Ortiz entered her plea through her lawyer at Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She remains in custody, with the court setting bail at $1.875 million, and she will return on April 8 for a preliminary hearing.
Alongside attempted murder, prosecutors have filed ten felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts tied to shooting at an occupied residence.
