Women Who Pursue Men Are “Not Smart Enough” — Haffy Powers
Ugandan media personality Haffy Powers, born Hasifa Nabbanja, has shared her firm stance against women making the first move on men.
While speaking on She Talk on Sanyuka TV, Haffy said she cannot imagine directly telling a man she likes him.
Instead, she argued that women have enough presence to attract men without doing the chasing.
I am always amazed by women who hit on men. Like, I make a move and tell a man that I like him? That cannot happen.

Building on that point, Haffy added that women who approach men first are underestimating themselves.
She insisted that if a woman truly wants a man, she can position herself in a way that makes him notice her and make the move.
You know why I disagree with that? Those girls are not smart enough. I cannot fail to get a man that I want… As a woman, you cannot fail. You can do anything and a man will come to you on his own. All I need are two seconds of passing in front of him every day, and I see if he will refuse.
Haffy’s remarks contrast with modern dating advice that encourages women to be open about their interest in men.
In her world, a woman attracts, and the man pursues. No exceptions.
I can never be the girl who makes the first move on a man. – @iamhaffypowers #SheTalkKuSanyuka #SanyukaUpdates #FfeBannoDdala pic.twitter.com/VGszTZBCGm
