Yese Oman Rafiki Pioneers Initiative to Connect Uganda’s Creatives
Uganda’s creative scene reached an exciting milestone on 23 November 2025 with the launch of the first-ever Composers Brunch at Las Vegas Hotel Bunga.
The event brought together songwriters, music producers, filmmakers, poets, authors, and visual artistes, all united by a shared goal of fostering collaboration and expanding global creative connections.
Leading the initiative is Yese Oman Rafiki, a legendary producer whose influence has shaped Uganda’s sound for decades.
Through his mentorship and partnership with the Uganda Producers Association, he is creating a space where creatives can learn, network, and access international opportunities.
The launch received overwhelming support, with numerous creatives attending to celebrate the start of what promises to be a transformative initiative.
The Composers Brunch now serves as a vibrant platform that brings artists together, amplifies opportunities, and elevates Uganda’s creative voice on the global stage.
