“You Did Not Communicate,” Bushingtone Responds Green Daddy’s B2C Concert Performance Complaints

Events producer and music promoter Bushingtone has addressed singer Green Daddy’s recent outburst about being denied a performance slot at the B2C ten-year anniversary concert.

Green Daddy had earlier expressed disappointment with event organizers, accusing them of sidelining rising musicians at big concerts.

He referenced the B2C concert as one of several events where emerging artistes like himself were allegedly blocked from performing.

According to him, the trend is growing, and established figures in the industry are now closing the doors they once used to rise to fame.

But Bushingtone, who was the lead organizer of the B2C event, has dismissed Green Daddy’s claims, saying there was no formal communication between the singer and the organizing team.

“We need to be professional. If someone wants to appear at such an event, they need to communicate in advance. It is not just about showing up at the venue and expecting to perform,” Bushingtone explained to Sanyuka TV.

He emphasized that when planning such a major concert, it is the main act who selects which fellow performers to include on the program.

“Green Daddy should have reached out to B2C and informed them that he wanted to perform at their concert. Usually, when I am organizing a show for an artiste, they provide me with a list of other musicians they would like to have on the program,” he said.

According to Bushingtone, all scheduled performers took the stage, except for Eddy Kenzo and Fik Fameica, who communicated that they could not make it due to other commitments.

While Green Daddy insists upcoming stars are being deliberately shut out, Bushingtone has made it clear that professional standards and proper communication must be observed for such events.

“I saw Green Daddy complaining in the media. The funny thing is he is my friend, but he did not call to tell me that he wanted to perform at the concert, so I did not expect him that day,” he stressed.
