You Have to Be a Smart Wife – Gloria Mbaleka

Mbaleka Gloria has opened up about her journey in marriage, sharing candid insights from her experience so far. In a Ugandan Boy podcast with Bonny Kibuuka, the singer said she loved the freedom of being a girlfriend but quickly realized that married life comes with its own set of challenges. “Doing daily chores every day isn’t easy,” she admitted. “I cannot be doing my expensive nails every other day, and you have to rig a rug every day. I went to TikTok and looked up smart rugs. You have to be a smart wife.” explains Gloria.

She emphasized the importance of choosing a partner wisely. “Always choose someone who is equally yoked with you. For me, it was crucial to be with someone who believes the same God like I do,” Baby Gloria said. Her advice reflects a mix of humor and practicality, showing that marriage requires both faith and effort.

She also reflected on shallowness of Uganda followers, noting how the Mbalekas reportedly give only 10 percent of their lives on the socials and are often surprised when Ugandans act as though they know everything about their private lives.
