Socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has stepped in to defend singer Rema Namakula’s marriage, telling critics and online commentators to leave the couple alone and let them enjoy their union in peace.
In a statement shared on her social platforms, Zari addressed what she called “unnecessary noise” from users who feel entitled to comment on Rema’s personal life.
She stressed that not every opinion shared online matters and urged people to respect boundaries.
Some of you think your opinions online matter in people’s marriages. They do not. Learn to mind your business. Rema is happy and that is what should count.
Her remarks come at a time when social media chatter about Rema’s relationship with her husband, Doctor Hamza Ssebunya, has been on the rise.
