Anna Talia Oze Mourns DJ Bush Baby with Emotional Tribute

The Ugandan entertainment industry continues to reel from the shock of losing Michael Owor, popularly known as DJ Bush Baby, who was tragically found dead in his studio in Entebbe on June 5, 2025.

As tributes pour in from every corner of the media world, celebrated personality Anna Talia Oze has added her voice, reflecting on the profound impact DJ Bush Baby had on her life and career.

In heartfelt posts across her social media platforms and during interviews on NBS and Sanyuka TV, Anna spoke of DJ Bush Baby not just as a colleague, but as a former boss, mentor, and father figure.

“DJ Bush Baby was once my boss in media and one of the finest producers I have ever worked with. He taught me not just about media, but about life. He was so open and honest. If you did something contrary to his expectations, he would always sit you down and speak his mind with kindness and clarity,” she recalled.

She also praised his discipline, humility, and keen eye for excellence.

“He pushed me to be perfect in everything I did. He was tough when he needed to be, but always with love and a genuine desire to see us grow. DJ Bush Baby was down to earth, respectful, and a true teacher,” she added.

Though he is no longer with us, the legacy Michael Owor built in Uganda’s media landscape will continue to inspire and influence generations to come.

The late media icon will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Tororo, Magola Pajangango off Iyolwa Road, on Sunday, 8 June 2025.
