Blaqbonez Says Music Industry Is “Very Wicked”

The Nigerian rapper recently took to X to complain about the lack of support for his latest song, “Chanel,” while accusing the industry of operating with unfair double standards.
According to Blaqbonez, he consistently promotes other artistes whenever they release music but rarely receives the same energy in return.

The rapper specifically mentioned Drake, Central Cee, Future, and Gunna while expressing frustration over the silence surrounding his own release.
His comments have since sparked conversations online about industry friendships, support systems and whether artistes should publicly promote one another’s work.
The latest outburst also adds to Blaqbonez’s history of openly criticising the music business.
In 2023, he made headlines after accusing some artistes of stream farming and manipulating music charts, despite pushback from figures including Don Jazzy and Odumodublvck.
