Gloria Bugie Says Bebe Cool Is a Legend, But “Circumference” Disappointed Her

The self-proclaimed best vocalist in Uganda, Gloria Bugie, has shared her thoughts on Bebe Cool’s latest song, “Circumference,” which is part of his upcoming album Break The Chains.

The song has received mixed reactions since its release, and the “Nyash” singer added her voice to those who feel the song missed the mark.

In a media interview, Gloria Bugie expressed that she expected more vocally. However, she acknowledged that the video was amazing.

She chose not to offer Bebe Cool any advice, stating that he is a legend in the music industry, old enough to make his own decisions, and someone she respects.

She also mentioned that she is a fan of his music, but “Circumference” did disappoint her a little.

Regarding the big three, Gloria Bugie mentioned that Bebe Cool stands out as her favorite, ahead of Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone.

She further revealed the aspect that disappointed her the most, saying that Bebe Cool tried to sound Nigerian.

In conclusion, Gloria Bugie argued that the use of the “Nigerian accent” did not do justice to Ugandan music, as it gave the impression that he was trying too hard to imitate them.
