Bebe Cool Reveals What Sparked Fallout With Bobi: “Who Are You To Call My Wife?”

For years, Ugandan music heavyweights Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, once close friends, have been locked in a well publicised rivalry.

They have exchanged diss tracks, taken jabs at each other in interviews, and rarely missed a chance to throw shade.

But despite all the drama, the true cause of their fallout has remained a mystery until now.

At the Bride and Groom Expo 2025, Bebe Cool finally opened up about what he claims triggered the long standing feud with Bobi Wine.

According to him, their differences have nothing to do with music.

He recounted a time when Bobi Wine’s wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, would allegedly leave their home due to relationship hardships and take shelter at his.

Bebe Cool said that he and his wife, Zuena, would talk to Barbie, counsel her, and she would then go back home to Bobi.

But things reportedly changed when Bebe Cool’s own relationship hit a rough patch.

After Zuena left and returned to her parents’ home, Bebe Cool reached out to Barbie, hoping she could help mediate and speak to Zuena on his behalf.

While he was waiting for a follow up call from Barbie, to his surprise, it was Bobi Wine who called him.

“Who are you to be calling my wife? Is she the one who sent you to cheat?” Bebe Cool recalled Bobi Wine saying as soon as he picked up.

He described being shocked and speechless, especially considering, in his words, the support he and Zuena had shown Bobi during his own relationship struggles.

Bebe Cool claimed that phone call changed everything and from that moment on, he began to hate Bobi Wine.
