Grace Nakimera Links Career Struggles to Alleged Witchcraft Attack

Grace Nakimera has claimed during an interview with Executive Media that a fellow female artiste used witchcraft against her in an attempt to derail her music career.

According to the singer, a dream first alerted her to what she believes was happening behind the scenes.

I saw that person in my dream. She undressed me and wore my clothes. The following day, I got involved in an accident in Kyaliwajjala, and my car was taken away.

Nakimera believes the accident marked the beginning of a difficult period that brought a series of setbacks into her life.

Over time, she became convinced that the problems she faced were not a coincidence and says she knows who was behind them.

You either become a prayer warrior or practice witchcraft, you have to choose a side. As for me, I am a prayer warrior. I know the person who bewitched me, and it is a woman.

The experience also changed how she views some of the people around her, particularly within Kampala’s social and entertainment circles.

Although she says she knows the woman she believes wronged her, Nakimera insists she chose forgiveness over retaliation.

I cannot even greet that person if I meet her. There is a lot of pain, but I forgave her because, as a born-again Christian, we are taught to forgive.

Even so, she admits the wounds have not fully healed and says she remains cautious as she prepares for her upcoming concert at Serena Hotel.
