Joshua Baraka Shares Key Tips Every Creative Should Know
Fast-rising Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka is quickly making a name for himself in the creative industry and he has advice for those hoping to follow in his footsteps.
The “Wrong Places” hitmaker has already performed on major stages, including Afro Nation, and his career shows no signs of slowing down.

Speaking to NBS Plus, Baraka stressed the importance of dedication, skill, and consistency for anyone aiming to succeed in the creative world.
The advice I would give anyone who wants to get into this industry or any creative industry is to first and foremost try to be the best at what you do, be really good at it, and try to learn it at the highest level. Then, be consistent with it.
He joked that the only reason someone who is consistently good might fail could be cultural.
Be consistently good, and once you are consistent and good, there is no reason for you to fail, unless, of course, there are a few questions you have to ask your ancestors.
Baraka is now gearing up for a major milestone with the release of his debut album on November 28, the same day he will perform his first-ever Uganda show “Into The BrakaLand” at Ndere Cultural Centre.
Fans can expect a show that highlights his talent and firmly establishes him as one of Uganda’s rising stars in the music scene.
