Liam Voice Opens Up About His Selective Approach to Collaborations

Singer-songwriter Liam Voice, whose real name is Zisabusolo Willy, has shared why he has relatively few music collaborations.

Looking back to the early days of his career, Liam revealed that he used to actively seek out other musicians for collaborations.

Unfortunately, the responses he often received were discouraging and sometimes even disrespectful.

Because of this, he made a firm decision to hold off on collaborations until his brand was stronger and commanded the respect he deserved.

“I told myself I would only collaborate once I had built my name as an artiste, when I no longer had to beg or face disrespect,” he said in a media interview.

Now, Liam sets clear conditions before agreeing to collaborations.

“The artiste must align with my brand, the music has to meet my quality standards, and the financial terms must be clear. I also carefully consider the timing of the release and whether there is a solid strategy behind it,” he explained.
